外邦为什么争闹，万民为什么谋算虚妄的事。
(Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain?)
世上的君王一齐起来，臣宰一同商议，要敌挡耶和华，并衪的受膏者，
(The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the LORD and against his Anointed One.)
说，我们要挣开他们的捆绑，脱去他们的绳索。("Let us break their chains," they say, "and throw off their fetters.")

那坐在天上的必发笑。主必嗤笑他们。(The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them.)
那时衪要在怒中责备他们，在烈怒中惊吓他们，(Then he rebukes them in his anger and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,)
说，我已经立我的君在锡安我的圣山上了。("I have installed my King on Zion, my holy hill.")

受膏者说，我要传圣旨。耶和华曾对我说，袮是我的儿子，我今日生袮。
(I will proclaim the decree of the LORD: He said to me, "You are my Son; today I have become your Father.)
袮求我，我就将列国赐袮为基业，将地极赐袮为田产。
(Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.)
袮必用铁杖打破他们。袮必将他们如同窑匠的瓦器摔碎。
(You will rule them with an iron scepter; you will dash them to pieces like pottery.")

现在你们君王应当省悟。你们世上的审判官该受管教。(Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth.)
当存畏惧事奉耶和华，又当存战兢而快乐。(Serve the LORD with fear and rejoice with trembling.)
当以嘴亲子，恐怕袮发怒，你们便在道中灭亡,(Kiss the Son, lest he be angry and you be destroyed in your way,)
因为袮的怒气快要发作。凡投靠袮的，都是有福的。
(for his wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.)
