Welcome to Wells ARK, the Thinking in the
TRUTH. I am Ling Ling Shi. In my previous topic, “The Power of God’s Word”,
through thinking about the U.S. Constitution, we can discover that America has
the most blessing birthmark-A Christian Country. As a Christian nation, the Word
of God in the Holy Bible must be the ultimate decree for Americans.
Today, I am going to share with you about
the Liberty and Blessings of America and the Key Points to fulfill the dream of
U.S. Constitution based on the Truth of God.
The following is quote from the U.S.
Constitution: “WE THE PEOPLE of the United States, in order to form a more
perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the
common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty
to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for
the United States of America.” This is the divine American dream in the U.S.
Constitution.
First, let us
discover what true Liberty and Blessings for human beings are; what are
the definitions of Liberty and Blessings in the U.S. Constitution?
The human beings true Liberty and Blessings
has been written in the Holy Bible by our Heavenly Father in Genesis before
2:25. In Genesis 1:27, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of
God he created him; male and female he created them.” and then,
“God blessed them and said to them: ‘Be fruitful and increase in
number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the
birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground’.”
(Genesis 1:28)
From the scriptures, we can see a peaceful
picture of human beings’ life with true Liberty and Blessings designed by God
the Father.
It is written in the Holy Bible Genesis 3:3,
for God’s commands to Adam and Eve, “You must not eat fruit from the tree
that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will
die.” After human beings were deceived by Satan to conduct sins against God,
human beings stepped on to a life without true Liberty, but a sinful life. The
sins got green lights to enter their body, mind, and soul without opposition;
they became the walking dead because they disobeyed God’s Law and did not repent
nor confess after they had sinned; the intimate relationship between God and
human beings had been broken due to sins from the time in Genesis 3:1.
“For God so loved
the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall
not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16). Two
thousand years ago, our God the Father sent his only begotten Son-Jesus
Christ down to earth to save us. He died for our sins at the Cross; He shed his
Precious Blood to pay our death penalty; He was resurrected from the death at
the third day to give us eternal hope; He cleanses us by his Precious Blood to
give us new lives: reborn Christian lives; He teaches us the Truth of God in
order for us to live in a brand new life of total Salvation; By His Love to all
human beings, He commanded us to preach the Good News: the Gospel of Salvation
in Jesus Christ to all nations; by Grace, He gives human beings the only way to
reconcile the relationship with God the Father through his sacrifice on Cross.
As a Christian nation, we received the Grace and Mercy from God the Father to
have Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior at the beginning of the U.S.A. and have
borne the most Blessed Birthmark – a Christian nation in the U.S.’s birth
certificate: the U.S. Constitution.
So, the true Liberty and Blessings of
America, the dream in the U.S. Constitution comes from the same source as Adam
and Eve’s before Genesis 2:25: that is, in God the Father, God the Son- Jesus
Christ, and God the Holy Spirit alone.
Second, how can
we live in true Liberty and Blessings and fulfill the divine American dream in
this complex world?
In John 14:6, Jesus said “I am the Way
and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
As long as our nation keeps our first Love, Jesus Christ, we will live in the
environment of Liberty and Blessings; the world may get worse, but those who are
seeking the Light and are Living by Faith in Jesus Christ will always be under
God’s Almighty Wings and live in peace.
Through the Holy Bible and the Salvation
from God, God gives his children the power to live in this complex world and not
be defeated by demonic forces. God is Faithful, Just and Holy. He gives his
decree and promises to all human beings; He gives all of us free will to make
choices; He gives human beings time and chances to repent and confess. In
Revelation, God speaks to churches again and again: “He who has an ear, let
him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” (revelation 2:11) It is an urgent wakeup call
from God to his children to listen to his Word – the Word gives life, the Word
fulfill the divine American dream.
Let me quote Word of God in the Parable of
Matthew 13:3~8 from our Lord Jesus’ teaching: “A farmer
went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the
path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did
not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when
the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no
root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. Still
other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop-a hundred, sixty or
thirty times what was sown. He who has ears, let him hear.”
This parable told us not to follow the
world, but to follow the Word of God to prepare good soil in our heart, and to
let the seed of God’s Word be rooted in the garden of the heart with good soil
and to grow healthily and to reap abundantly. Life is a choice; you reap what
you sow. The Liberty and Blessings only can be released through the Word of God.
It is a key point for America to stand firm in the Truth.
This parable is the Truth for individuals,
families, churches, society, and governments to learn. As a Christian nation,
the U.S. government who declares “In God We Trust” is a very important role
model to the whole nation to put Faith in action. It is our leaders’
responsibilities as servants of Americans and God to line up U.S. Policies with
God’s Word, the Truth of God: to establish laws accordingly, to exam that is
there any policy unconstitutional and against God’s Law, to create and promote
the environments for the young generation as well as all Americans to know the
Truth of God, to live in True Liberty and Blessings, and walk into divine
destiny.
I think that if any law lined up with the
Truth of God, it’d be a constitutional law and would lead us closer and closer
to fulfill the divine American dream; any law against the Truth of God is an
unconstitutional law and pulls us away from the divine American dream. The Truth
of God is the foundation of the U.S. Constitution and the testing stone for U.S.
Policies in this Christian nation.
To fulfill the American dream in the U.S.
Constitution, the only way is through Jesus Christ, our beloved Lord and Savior.
Only by the Cross and the Blood of Jesus can we have perfect Union, because God
is perfect; we can establish Justice, because God is Just; the domestic
Tranquility can be insured, because God is Peace and our Protector; General
Welfare will be promoted, because God is Love; the Blessings of Liberty to
ourselves and our Posterity will be secured, because God is the only source of
Blessings and the Author of Liberty from generation to generation. The key code
in the U.S. Constitution is “The Truth of God”. The divine and ordained plan by
God for America made the U.S. Constitution for the sake of God’s children on
this promised land of Liberty and Blessings.
Third, how can
America, a Christian country face the challenges from this complex world that’s
full of false liberty and religions that are forbidden by God?
Lord Jesus told us another
parable of the Weeds in Matthew 13:24: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man
who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy
came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. When the wheat sprouted and
formed heads, then the weeds also appeared. The owner’s servants came to him and
said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds
come from?’ ‘An enemy did this,’ he replied. The servants asked him, ‘Do you
want us to go and pull them up?’ ‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are
pulling the weeds, you may root up the wheat with them. Let both grow together
until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the
weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it
into my barn.”
From Lord Jesus’
teaching, we need appreciate the Grace from God to let our nation become his
chosen wheat in the kingdom of God and to protect our identity of wheat boldly
in this complex world; do not conform to the evil one and become his weeds;
do not be defeated by false liberty and religions and become their captives.
The time of harvest is near.
Let us embrace the Word of God and live in it. Someday, as God’s wheat in the
field, we will be gathered and welcomed by our God the Father, God the Son, and
God the Holy Spirit, to enter our heavenly sweet and loving home where our Lord
and Savior Jesus Christ prepared for us.
Let us pray for our leaders
and America families to be steadfast on the Word of God, obey and follow God’s
commands, give him thanks and praise with grateful hearts for His Great Love on
the Cross and the Gospel of Salvation, remember our beautiful divine American
dream, and prepare for the time of joyful harvest and the second coming of our
beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
Oh, America, the Eagle is
our nation’s symbol; his eyes always look up to the highest of skies. Even
though the severe crises have taken place in our nation and the American dream
seems to be falling apart, but remember that our Loving and Almighty God is the
God of forgiveness and restoration. Let us come to Him with humble and pure
hearts; let us repent and confess our sins; let us lift our spirit by the verse
Isaiah 40:31 again to remind us who we are in Jesus Christ:
"But those who hope in
the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they
will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
God is Love, his precious
heart to you and I can be seen from 3 John 1:4:
“I have no greater joy
than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.”
Through the thousands of letters from our Loving God in the Holy Bible, we know
how much he loves us and how much he wants to give us the best - the Salvation
in Jesus Christ and life in His Liberty and Blessings forever!
For our nation and the world, let us pray
together again our Lord’s prayer in Matthew 6:9~13 “In
Jesus’ Holy Name”:
“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done
on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our
debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.
Amen!”
我们在天上的父,愿人都尊袮的名为圣, 愿袮的国降临, 愿袮的旨意行
在地上如同行在天上.我们日用的饮食, 今日赐给我们, 免我们的债,如同
